Bridgewater wants to grow with New Orleans Saints
Teddy Bridgewater has decided one more time to wear the red No 5 uniform for another season as Quarterback, than signing with Miami, where he was supposed to compete in a rebuilding program with a younger QB.
Bridgewater behind Brees at least one more season
Many reasons show us why the New Orleans Saints wanted to keep Bridgewater as an expensive insurance policy behind Drew Brees, who leads the team since 2006 and is one of the most established names in the NFL.
There is no doubt that Bridgewater gives his best to maintain the established standards with the first-team offense, in some cases where Brees is gone for a couple of days.
“Guys have a comfort level with him” has Brees previously commented regarding the Quarterback; apparently, Bridgewater always finds joy on the field and spread the Good vibes among the team.

A great opportunity to grow
In terms of image rehab and knowledge gained, Bridgewater has expressed that it is one in a million opportunity in football to learn under the tutelage of Drew Brees and Sean Payton, the New Orleans Saints coach.
“This is the best opportunity for me to grow, continue to learn and expand my mental capacity as a football player.” Has said the Quarterback.
Bridgewater have all the necessary potential to show somewhere else during this offseason, however, he commented that “As a competitor, you want to be out there starting and competing, but I just sat back and I weighed my options and thought about what would be best for me.”
We hope the best for the Quarterback, especially after the horrible knee injury suffered a few years ago.
