Shock in Los Angeles: Kawhi Leonard and Paul George signed by the Clippers
- What was being one of the unknowns of this summer in the NBA market has already been resolved: Los Angeles Clippers have signed Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
When it seemed that the Lakers were the franchise that was going to be done with the recent ring champion, it is the other Los Angeles team that gets the services of the MVP of the last finals.
Toronto Raptors have finally failed to renew Leonard and eventually transfer him to the Los Angeles Clippers. Kawhi has signed a four-year contract for which he will receive a total of $142 million dollars.
Apparently, the ex-Raptors and the Spurs demanded that he sign for them if they brought him another great star in the league. The other movement has been that of Paul George, from Oklahoma.
The Thunders get in trade for Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and four first-round draft pick. In this way the demands of Kawhi Leonard who supposedly had been seeing Paul George at the beginning of the week in the city of Los Angeles to convince him together with Steve Ballmer, owner of the Clippers.
Therefore the Clippers already have their super pair to fight face to face with their purple and gold neighbors who have already hired Anthony Davis to accompany LeBron James.
