Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints Betting Prediction 9/15/2019
This game of Week 2 faces two of the best teams in the NFC, both with a view to the Super Bowl. The New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams have figures and a victory would imply a serious blow to the table for the rest of the NFL.
Los Angeles Rams Sports Betting Analysis
The Rams started the season with a tight victory when they visited the Panthers, 30-27. The team looked good at times and, although they contained Cam Newton (0 TD, 1 INT), Christian McCaffrey constantly damaged them by land (128 yds, 2 TD).
Offensively, Jared Goff had a discreet start this season. The quarterback threw 186 yards, a score and an interception in the match.
Since the ground game, the Rams were more effective, Todd Gurley remains an elite runner despite his knee injuries and completed 97 yards. On the other hand, Malcolm Brown managed 53 yards and two scores. The ground game was effective and much of the victory came over there.
As for its receivers, the open-winged body is talented, Robert Woods managed 70 yards, Cooper Kupp returned from his injury with 46 yards and Brandin Cooks in two receptions managed 39 yards. His tight end, Tyler Higbee, managed 20 yards and one touchdown, giving one more weapon to consider for Goff.
The defense achieved three catches (Clay Matthews and Dante Fowler Jr. got them) and an interception by Cory Littleton. However, the talent possessed by this defense was not fully enhanced.
Before the Saints, they will have to raise the pressure and its level too, otherwise, they will have a very bad time.
New Orleans Saints Sports Betting Analysis
The Saints have a complete team and come to win over the hour against the Houston Texans 30-28 in a heart attack game. Drew Brees, his quarterback, threw for 370 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
It was a very complicated game, beyond this, winning in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is almost impossible because the Saints are strong at home. As for his land game, Alvin Kamara did what he knows how to do, with 97 land yards. On the other hand, Latavius Murray made it clear that Mark Ingram’s absence is not going to be surprising, he accumulated 43 yards and a score in his debut for New Orleans.
By air, Drew Brees connected with Michael Thomas 10 times. The open receiver opened his new contract with 123 yards. Ted Ginn Jr., meanwhile, reached 101 yards and Kamara contributed 72 more.
The defense captured Deshaun Watson six times and, deep Marcus Williams completed an interception.
Before the Rams, they must continue to maintain that pressure to the quarterback and the secondary will have to be very attentive due to the large body of receivers that Los Angeles possesses.
Rams vs. Saints Prediction
The NFC finalists have an outstanding balance. The Rams want to prove that it was not a product of arbitration errors that reached the Super Bowl and, the Saints, want to prove that they are the best team. We’ll take Saints on the spread.
