NFL 2019 Week 5 SNF: Colts vs. Chiefs Betting Prediction 10/6/2019
- It would be one of the best games of the year if the Colts weren’t a hospital and if they had Andrew Luck behind them, but it’s their turn to go with what they have against undefeated Chiefs and visiting Arrowhead Stadium at this Sunday Night Football.
The Colts were on the wrong side of the surprise of the week when they fell at home to the Raiders. Indy was with several major casualties that are likely to repeat for this game. The match quickly slipped from their hands and they went to the break losing 21-10.
In the last quarter, there was hope for the comeback. They scored and got 7 points down, but a pick-6 to Brissett finished burying them. The ground game didn’t work and by air, they didn’t have their best weapon, T.Y. Hilton. The ground game is this team’s forte and that’s where the Chiefs will get the most damage. It is not yet known if Marlon Mack will play. The substitute would be Nyheim Hines, a player capable of filling the gap and can contribute a lot by air. Also, Jordan Wilkins will be to share cargo in the backfield.
Kansas City almost lost the undefeated against the Lions last week, but the geniuses of Patrick Mahomes were enough to get up 20 seconds short and ensure victory. The Chiefs lost the ball four times, which is why they suffered until the end. This can’t be repeated. Mahomes had his weakest game and did not throw any touchdown passes. LeSean McCoy was again the referent by land, while Travis Kelce did it by air.
The defense also did a good job, getting 3 fumbles, but still allowing many yards by land (149.8 per game). The offensive continues to amaze everyone, especially by air where they are the first in yards per game and is also the team that scores more points per game. The offense will win another game for the Chiefs, but if the defense against the hauling has a decent match (unlikely), it will be a total ride for the Kansas team.
The Colts are a hospital with all injuries reported. For this week are in doubt Parris Campbell, Malik Hooker, Clayton Geathers, T.Y. Hilton, Marlon Mack, and Darius Leonard. The only ones who were able to train were Hilton and Leonard, but both were limited. On the Chiefs’ side, Eric Fisher is in doubt because of a groin injury and Tyreek Hill has already started training, but this will not be the game for him to return to the grill. Damien Williams will be back for the Chiefs, was the starter before leaving injured, we’ll see what happens now.
